Meditation to Release Stress and Anxiety


We often hear the word ‘self-care’ but what does this mean? Some will say that there isn’t enough time in a day to take care of oneself let alone do everything else. This belief isn’t true. We need to make time to care for oneself even when feeling drained and tired. Feeling exhausted is a time when self-care is essential. Caring for oneself doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

What is self-care? It is when we deliberately take care of our mental, emotional, and physical health through activities we enjoy and through quiet. Self-care is something you plan actively rather than waiting for it to happen. No amount of wishing will change your pattern of care unless you make conscious choice to do so.
